Youm e Ashura observed in Kargil with Religious fervor and zeal.

Mourning Procession of Ashura e Hussaini taken out in Kargil under the banner of Anjuman Jamiat ul Ulama Asna Asharia Islamia School Kargil Ladakh in which 23 Mourning Processions from various villages and from the town area of kargil joined to remembered the supreme sacrifice of the Martyrs of Karbala. 
The Mourners were seen reciting noha , beating their chest with hand and beating their back chains doing Zanjeer Zani. Processions were started entered the main bazar from 10.30 am in the morning passing trough main bazar Kargil and at 12 noon processions started entered in the premises of Houza Elmiyah Asna Asharia Kargil , after passing trough main bazar kargil towards lal chowk the processions about 4.30 pm reached Inqilab Manzil famously known as (Qatilgha e Hussaini) were Ashura e Hussaini concluded with ziyarat Ashura and speech by Hojjatul Islam Sheikh Nazir ul Mehdi Mohammadi President Anjuman Jamiat ul Ulama Asna Asharia Islamia School Kargil Ladakh.

Hojjatul Islam Sheikh Nazir ul Mehdi Mohammadi threw a light on the philosophy of Ashura and delivered a brief Masayib during his speech Sheikh Nazir ul Mehdi also pays tribute to Ahsan Ali Aliko member of Media Cell ISK and Accountant of Project Care Islamia School who was died on Subh e Ashura at Skims Soura day after referred from District Hospital Kargil , Ahsan Ali was met with an accident during preparation of 9th Moharam and severely injured.
Later after Sheikh Nazir ul Mehdi recited Ziyarat e Ashura and in the end General Secretary of Jamiatul Ulama Asna Asharia Islamia School Kargil Hojjatul Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Khalili thanked the District Administration,Health Department, volunteers of different organisations and the concerned departments for their cooperation on the day of Ashura..
